Fraxel® Laser Treatment (FLT) from Reliant Technologies is a new aesthetic solution that repairs aging and sun-damaged skin — pixel by pixel, spot by spot. We describe it as new-generation laser skin resurfacing, similar to digital photo-editing software for your skin. Think of your skin as a family portrait or digital photo in need of high-quality restoration or touch-up. Imagine how the portrait would be delicately restored, one small area at a time; or a photograph might be digitally altered, pixel by pixel. That’s the principle behind the Fraxel® Laser Treatment.

Depending on the level of treatment, you will experience redness and swelling after the procedure which diminishes as quickly as the next several days. Your skin may also appear bronzed, and this as with redness can last over the next week or two. As you continue with treatment sessions, the sunburned-to-bronzed appearance will repeat after each treatment. As with a sunburn, your skin will flake and exfoliate normally, revealing fresher, glowing and smoother looking and feeling skin..

Treatment is well-tolerated with a topical anesthetic ointment to alleviate discomfort. We also use contact cooling (if applicable) to increase patient comfort during the procedure. Patients can apply make-up or shave after treatment.

Clear + Brilliant® works by creating hundreds of thousands of microscopic treatment zones in the upper layers of the skin, which replaces damaged skin with healthy looking tissue and yields younger-looking skin.

Clear + Brilliant® treatments take about 30 minutes or less. However, total appointment times will vary.

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) PhotoFacial is a non-invasive treatment that erases skin damage without disrupting the skin’s surface.

After your first treatment, your skin will feel smoother and will have a more even tone. These improvements are gradual and will be more visible after each treatment. Five treatments are typically performed for optimal results. Some patients will benefit from an additional treatments.

Pearl Fractional is a new volumizing fractional laser perfected for addressing photoaging in just one treatment. Pearl Fractional offers the best combination of patient experience and recovery time. Patients will see improvements in photodamage, tone and texture as well as a noticeably smoother, brighter complexion.

Most patients describe the treatment as a series of fast, hot pinches. A topical numbing cream is applied to the skin prior to treatment to alleviate some discomfort. Practitioners may choose to augment topical creams with other medications based on patient need.
